Ikebukuro Ramen

Ikebukuro Ramen is a conceptual website for a traditional ramen restaurant. We strive to provide rich flavors, the vibrant atmosphere, and an authentic Japanese dining experience by seamlessly blending a traditional aesthetic with modern functionality. Food is an art and experience, which can be best enjoyed with the delicious flavours of one of the worlds most famous soups!

Goal

Ikebukuro Ramen was designed with minimalism and simplicity in mind. It is a one page website meant to convey all the necessary information of what the restaurant has to offer with just one click onto the page.

Design

I prioritized clear navigation and concise information to ensure a user-friendly experience. The menu is prominently displayed and categorized for easy browsing, and accompanied by short descriptions and pricing information. Contact details and location information are readily accessible at the bottom of the page, encouraging customers to connect with the restaurant to order via phone, or to order through the popular option of meal delivery applications.

Interaction

By incorporating interactive elements like the Google Map and social media links, I created an online presence that extends beyond static information. This allows the restaurant to engage with customers, share updates, and build a loyal community around the brand through popular social media platforms.

Colours

The deep red and black color scheme was inspired by traditional Japanese lacquerware, evoking a sense of sophistication and authenticity. And the orange accenting is present to stimulate ones happiness, as it is commonly used in Japanese festivals and celebrations.
